Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Posing against a backdrop of my Mum's in-bloom (and in-blur) Rhododendrons, The Cockatoo might at first glance seem rather cute and innocent.

Yet they are the cheeky buggers of the bird world, and highly curious. This one, for example, would repeatedly knock off the top of my Mum's bird feeder, and then just flee the scene.

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo reminds me of the importance of remaining curious, and remaining cheeky. A curious mind will rarely be bored, nor will a cheeky one. I've found that curiosity often opens the door to interesting new worlds. And cheekiness is a great way to connect with new people. It can be so warming when new people are curious in me, and try for some friendly cheekiness right away.

The spark of curiosity is an interesting one, and the way each spark alights is very unique to the individual. Following it can be a great route towards some form of creativity or originality.

What sparks your curiosity? Could you follow that spark further down the trail, and see where it leads? Could you bring more cheekiness into your daily interactions?
